Dear Vogue Patterns,
Can you ask Tracy Reese to share the pattern for the Delaney dress from her frock! line? I would make mine in cotton pique, possibly with contrast color for the straps on shoulders and back.
Thanks,
Melissa
p.s. Here are some photos to jog your memory.
Was this post prompted by the RueLaLa Tracy Reese sale? :) Those dresses sold out FAST! Love her stuff.
ReplyDeleteGood guess, Gertie! That RueLaLa sale was so tempting. Did you also take a look at the Stephen Dweck sale? Never heard of him before, but oh my...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that Tracy Reese needs to offer that dress as vogue pattern. It is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous. I love Tracy Reese.
ReplyDeleteHope they listen, I'll buy that pattern!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! How awesome would THAT be?!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!
ReplyDeleteI massively agree. If you make a formal petition, I will happily sign it!
ReplyDeleteYou know that dress isn't that hard to knock off. Use a strapless sundress, some straps and a dressform to get the appropriate pattern in the back. I bet you could find a simplicity pattern with that sweetheart strapless neckline and make it work!
ReplyDeleteI would totally buy that pattern! Looks complicated though.
ReplyDeleteAdd my name to the petition. I agree with Carolyn, it probably wouldn't be that hard to knock off with the right pattern to base it on, but it would be nice if Vogue would do the work for us and just leave us the tweaks. That is a seriously great dress.
